Out Of The Wilders: The Anti-Islamism Hobby Horse

THE ANTI-ISLAMISM HOBBY HORSE

It was indeed “a beautiful day” as Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician, wrote after being acquitted for hate speech against Islam. It was a beautiful day not because it was a victory for freedom of speech, but because what Wilders has been doing is akin to sowing wild oats. One should hope he has now got his hormonal kicks and can get down to real political debate.

The first thing he needs to realise in a secular set-up is that religion ought to have no place in such debates. He comes with a huge baggage of a right-winger and a devout Roman Catholic. If this is his personal viewpoint, then it is perfectly valid – he can hate anything he likes. Does it have any place in public discourse? He writes: “My view on Islam is that it is not so much a religion as a totalitarian political ideology with religious elements. While there are many moderate Muslims, Islam’s political ideology is radical and has global ambitions.”

It is indeed possible to see religion through a political prism, and most societies do so as it is easier than selling new ideologies. Wilders Party for Freedom (PVV) has risen to a large extent due to his rabid stance. Perhaps he does not have a mirror around to show him that his criticism of Islam comes from projection. His audience is clearly taken in by his totalitarian views and his own expansionism is quite evident.

It is inadvertently amusing when he says “now it is legal to criticise Islam”. This sounds like a statement of an addict seeking legitimacy for his habit. It begs the question: Why is it important to criticise Islam?

A Guardian profile of February 2008 states: “Likening the Islamic sacred text to Hitler’s Mein Kampf, he wants the ‘fascist Koran’ outlawed in Holland, the constitution rewritten to make that possible, all immigration from Muslim countries halted, Muslim immigrants paid to leave and all Muslim ‘criminals’ stripped of Dutch citizenship and deported ‘back where they came from’. But he has nothing against Muslims. ‘I have a problem with Islamic tradition, culture, ideology. Not with Muslim people’.”

It would have been nice if he could see culture more holistically instead of through the hole of some Arabian Nights dark fantasy, unless he is seriously filigree-resistant. More seriously, where does he draw the line between Muslims and Islam? His comments would have made sense had he been an atheist or born a Muslim and concerned about the state of people in societies that may shackle them due to stringent laws. He lives in the west and is riding on anti-Islamism because it happens to be at the centre of political turmoil in many parts of the globe. Besides internal strife, much of religious resurgence has been a result of western intrusion in such territories.

One commiserates with Wilder about Muslim criminals, but what about criminals belonging to other faiths? What if the Muslims do not have any criminal record and are contributing in professional capacities or as unskilled labour to these societies? Would being Muslim be sufficient to qualify as a crime? Should Muslim societies return the favour by deporting westerners who work in their countries?

The action against hate speech is not restricted to Muslims. “The Dutch penal code states in its articles 137c and 137d that anyone who either ‘publicly, verbally or in writing or image, deliberately expresses himself in any way that incites hatred against a group of people’ or ‘in any way that insults a group of people because of their race, their religion or belief, their hetero- or homosexual inclination or their physical, psychological or mental handicap, will be punished’.” These are Wilders’ own words.

The prosecution stated, “Freedom of expression fulfills an essential role in public debate in a democratic society. That comments are hurtful and offensive for a large number of Muslims does not mean that they are punishable.” So, how can his acquittal be a victory for freedom of speech when it goes against the law? Why has he been treated with kid gloves? It is likely that had someone been critical of homosexuals or the disabled there might not have been a case at all except for a few rumblings.

Israel’s fission field warfare: Pakistan, Iraq and Egypt [3 of 5]

Mubarak’s infamous (and savage) security forces collaborated with the Zionist entity in the bloodshed, withdrawing from al-Qiddissin only an hour before the car bomb exploded, granting Israeli operatives the opportune time needed to plant the explosives and vanish (54).

Staying true to the Dragon Policy, the official line from the Israeli-owned Mubarak regime now blames an enemy of the Zionist entity for the bombing, the Army of Islam, a Palestinian Resistance movement in illegally besieged Gaza. The Interior Ministry cited “conclusive evidence (55),” which obviously, doesn’t exist. (more…)

Fission field warfare is the armed aspect of the Zionist entity’s “Greater Israel” grand scheme, which it is attempting to bring forth through the ‘Fracture Theory of Zion (FTZ).’ FTZ is a centuries-old operation that was born with Zionism in the echoes of the infamous extremist saying, “from the Nile to the Euphrates.

It encompasses fission field warfare, which breeds division through military and intelligence means, along with diplomatic manipulation (i.e. the global Zionist lobby), financial isolation (i.e. the Zionist international banking cartels and sanctions against Iran) and opposition infiltration (i.e. the subversion of the anti-war and truth movements by Zionist-run Wikileaks). FTZ is the doctrine which provides cover for Israeli expansionism and generates a plethora of new wars to strengthen the ‘Israeli empire (21).’ (more…)

Deconstructing the Zionist Myth

Overwhelming evidence suggests that modern day adherents of Zionism have exploited the human tragedy of the holocaust in order to establish and maintain religious, economic, political and social supremacy over the indigenous population of Palestinians.
·

ITS NOW TIME OF REVELATION OF ALL TRUTHS

·

by Ashahed M. Muhammad

·

I shook hands with an 86-year old holocaust survivor the other day, and I don’t feel any different. Don’t misunderstand me, this is not being written to diminish the suffering of those placed in concentration camps and killed by those under the command of Adolph Hitler and through the enforcement of his henchmen.

I write this to point out the absurdity of those who have suffered unspeakable crimes, yet often find themselves diminishing and/or trivializing the suffering of others.

Right: Ze’ev Jabotinsky

The holocaust survivor I shook hands with was author and outspoken political activist Dr. Hajo G. Meyer. He expressed his disgust at the moral collapse of Israeli society and by extension, world Jewry.

This Dutch national of German-Jewish origin who survived Auschwitz said, “Zionism is contrary to Jewish ethics. Judaism was supplanted by the holocaust religion.”

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

He went on to say it is “bad that the holocaust is used in order to defend crimes by Israel.”

No truer words have been stated.

Overwhelming evidence suggests that modern day adherents of Zionism have exploited the human tragedy of the holocaust in order to establish and maintain religious, economic, political and social supremacy over the indigenous population of Palestinians.

In fact, the International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network, sponsors of the “Never Again for Anyone” lecture tour—which provided me the opportunity to shake hands and talk with Mr. Meyer—in a statement, said the “Zionist narrative withstands neither historical nor moral scrutiny.”

Since using their own words has been very effective for us in The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews Volumes One and Two, let’s continue this method as we demonstrate our points. What are the facts?

Right: Theodor Herzl, the father of modern political Zionism

Theodor Herzl, the father of modern political Zionism (and in effect the State of Israel) and founder of the World Zionist Organization, in The Complete Diaries, June 12, 1895 entry wrote that his desire was to “spirit the penniless population across the frontier by denying it employment…Both the process of expropriation and the removal of the poor must be carried away discreetly and circumspectly.”

Ze’ev (Vladimir) Jabotinsky is considered among the greatest Jewish statesmen of the twentieth century. As the founder of Revisionist Zionism, the political movement acting as a precursor to the modern-day Likud Party of current Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr. Jabotinski’s staunch belief in armed Jewish action spawned bigoted ideological progeny including the Jewish Defense Organization. Yes, the same group that in the past chanted “Who do you want? Farrakhan! How do you want him? Dead!” Interestingly, he was also a journalist, and in The Iron Wall (1923) he wrote:

“A voluntary reconciliation with the Arabs is out of the question either now or in the future. If you wish to colonize a land in which people are already living, you must provide a garrison for the land, or find some rich man or benefactor who will provide a garrison on your behalf. Or else-or else, give up your colonization, for without an armed force which will render physically impossible any attempt to destroy or prevent this colonization, colonization is impossible, not difficult, not dangerous, but IMPOSSIBLE!… Zionism is a colonization adventure and therefore it stands or falls by the question of armed force.”

A garrison is defined as a body of troops stationed at a military post. Clearly, this course of action recommended by Mr. Jabotinsky has been adopted as policy since it is the current reality in the land called Israel.

Mr. Jabotinsky died in 1940, never witnessing the birth of the Jewish state in 1948.

According to the book, Ben Gurion and the Palestine Arabs (Oxford University Press, 1985) David Ben-Gurion, future first Prime Minister of Israel, was quoted in 1937 as saying, “We must expel Arabs and take their places.”

Israel’s main airport is named in his honor. He is also referred to as the “Armed Prophet” and his memory is treated with great reverence by those who write and recount Israel’s history.

Right: A sculpture in honor of David Ben-Gurion at Israel’s airport which is named after him. Photo: Gila Brand

The “high priest” of the holocaust religion, Elie Wiesel, said, “Every Jew, somewhere in his being, should set apart a zone of hate—healthy, virile hate—for what the German personifies and for what persists in the German.” (Legends of Our Time, Appointment with Hate, NY, Avon, 1968, pp. 177-178).

Where is the forgiveness? In Judaism’s Mishneh Torah, Teshuvah 2:10 it reads, “It is forbidden to be obdurate and not allow yourself to be appeased. On the contrary, one should be easily pacified and find it difficult to become angry. When asked by an offender for forgiveness, one should forgive with a sincere mind and a willing spirit. . . forgiveness is natural to the seed of Israel.”

In fact, the Simon Wiesenthal Center freely and frequently uses the term “Nazi-hunter” in their official correspondence and in many writings and reports. If one were to use the term “Slavemaster-hunter” that would be considered hate speech and even a threat, would it not?

Who is the real hater?

There a standard applied to Black people and our suffering that is not applied to anyone else who has suffered. We are expected to “move on” and “forget about the past” while others say “Never Again!” We are expected to “turn the other cheek” while others in the spirit of self-defense and self-determination created a nation-state in a land that belonged to others.

We could go into further discussion of the Judenrat, Jewish councils set up by the Nazis to send their fellow Jews to Death Camps. We could discuss the kapos who acted as Jewish informants, acting as stool pigeons against their fellow Jews in concentration camps who had the idea to resist their captors during the holocaust. We could discuss those wealthy Jews who negotiated to save their own skins, while the skins of other less wealthy Jews were used for lampshades and soap.

We could, but for right now, we won’t.

I realize this seems strange because most have only heard (or more accurately—been taught) the “accepted” version of the Zionist drama, a sanitized version of events which states that because of the persecution they faced during WWII in Germany, there was the need for a refuge—a peaceful Jewish homeland—which became the state of Israel.

The previously mentioned International Jewish Anti-Zionist Network further stated, “To this end, Zionism both exploited and hinged upon the rise of Nazism, and later, the Holocaust, to transform what had been a small nationalist movement with little support (even among Jews) into one capable of achieving statehood, based on support from the United States and other imperial powers.”

Remarkably, in a stunning parallel, historically, the economic success of those same people has hinged upon the exploitation of Black people. Their control is maintained by using as their primary weapon, the dastardly appellation of “anti-Semite” against those daring to speak or write words critical of their errant ways.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has spoken courageously for decades, and, despite what is reported by unscrupulous writers, he has never advocated harming anyone of the Jewish faith, nor has he called for the boycott of Jewish-owned establishments.

These are false charges, designed to create a false view of The Minister, but now, facts are being brought to bear that are at odds with the false reality that has been created. Whether in Soweto, Warsaw, Egypt, Palestine or Chicago, where there is suffering and injustice, it is the responsibility of right-thinking and rational beings to speak up and do something about it.

In all cases, a review of previously accepted historical realities is necessary. As time goes on, new information becomes available challenging previously accepted views.

We are now living in the time of the revelation of all truths.

This fourth installment of Central Asia News’ investigative series on the Empire’s plans for Pakistan and South Asia is most revealing, and shocking in the extreme. If all indicators are correct, then the big double-cross of Pakistan will likely occur sometime after July. The so-called US/Pakistani realignment, which allegedly gives Pakistan the winning hand in Afghanistan is merely a ruse, flattering the egos of Pakistan’s generals with this great sign of trust from their American benefactors.

Gen. Kayani and friends will forget how to smile when this trap in Baluchistan is sprung. The apparent big happenings in Central Asia are really just a distraction, misdirection to keep the world’s focus elsewhere. It is going to get very ugly, folks….

The amazing “Sec/Def” Bob Gates…, acknowledges just how much the Pak Army has cooperated with American direction lately, moving six divisions from the eastern border with India to the Durand Line, in order to fight America’s terror wars….

With the sudden exposure of America’s underhanded war raging within Pakistan and Afghanistan, by the Raymond Davis double-murder charges, American hypocrisy towards USA’s most loyal ally is suddenly thrust to the forefront… The brutal killing of three or more Pakistani citizens by American CIA agents is something that happens nearly every day, in the hidden corners of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria….with the Infamous white House Murder INC, and its subsidiaries worldwide…., all the way to Argentina… (SEE: General Kayani Must Not Blink and Pakistan’s Taliban Are CIA).

Now that it is happening in the heart of Lahore, in broad daylight, the world gets to see with its own eyes, that American leaders are no longer concerned with keeping their criminal wars and extra-judicial assassinations secret….

Sources reveal that tracking chips (“sim cards,” SEE: Paramilitary Pretense, Who Controls the Predators?) were found on Raymond Davis…. These chips have been linked to Predator drones, used to assassinate targeted Pakistanis… The fact that one or more of these were in the US agent’s belongings, confirms that he was connected to the CIA murder program, which had stopped since Davis’ arrest.

http://www.dawn.com/2011/02/18/probe-finds-connection-between-davis-drone-attacks.html

Meanwhile, the USA is in deep secret negotiations with the Top Leadership of the Taliban….

http://janashah.com/2011/02/06/raymond-davis-had-contacts-in-south-waziristan-and-certain-madrasas/

Until the Sec/Def and his boss are ready to shut-down America’s secret war upon the people of Pakistan, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Palestine, Iran etc, all patriotic citizens everywhere should stand together to guarantee that US/Israeli big wars and assassinations come to a halt….

“…The saga rolls on, while (as they used to say in the old pulp novels) the plot thickens. Davis remains in prison awaiting trial. Relations between Pakistan and the US continue to be quite strained. And the circle of collateral damage widens…. The facts of the incident that sparked all this are now fairly clear. Davis, in a rental car, was driving around in Lahore in areas where foreigners scarcely ever venture, tailed by two ISI auxiliaries on a motorbike. After an hour or more of trying to shake them off, they both came abreast at a stoplight. He pulled out a gun and, firing through his windscreen, shot them both. Accounts differ as to whether they made any threatening gesture, but one was killed as he was trying to run away.

The backup van that Davis called for came roaring up the wrong way on a one-way street, ran over a cyclist, killing him, then turned around and roared off. Davis was arrested, and weapons, ammo and other paraphernalia were found in the car.

On his cell phone were numbers that were later traced to phones in the tribal belt where the Taliban operate, while his camera had pictures of religious schools and military sites.

After some initial fumbling, the US embassy declared him a diplomat on staff with diplomatic immunity, and demanded he be turned over to them. When this didn’t happen, Washington jumped in with both barrels blazing, cancelling meetings and threatening all sorts of reprisals if Davis wasn’t released, including Congressional hints of aid being cut off.

The Zardari government, whose desire to please and placate the US comes second only to its agenda of robbing the country blind, wanted to comply but had to tread warily because of the public outcry over the matter (intensified by the suicide of the wife of one of the men killed). Its strategy was to have the foreign ministry certify to the courts that Davis did, indeed, have diplomatic immunity, but this ran into a roadblock when ministry staff refused to endorse this position, based on the record. (It is being said that the military’s opposition to his release stiffened their spines!)…

The US, concluding that playing the heavy wasn’t achieving much, sent in the ‘good cop’, in the person of Senator Kerry, co-author of the 7.5 billion Pakistan aid bill. He expressed public regret for the deaths, held out the assurance that Davis would be criminally investigated back in the US, and met with the principal Pakistani players.

His whirlwind one-day tour didn’t achieve much beyond smuggling out of the country on his plane the three Americans who had been in the backup van (and were being sought by the police and the courts).

Some mysteries still shroud the affair. One, the subject of considerable speculation in Pakistan, is: What was Davis up to? (There are two versions as to whether this is still a mystery to the ISI; one is that he ‘sang’ under interrogation, while the US claims that he made no statement). His undoubted links to people in Taliban territory have spawned the allegation that he was arranging Taliban bombings in Pakistan (it is a settled belief among most Pakistanis that the US wishes to destabilize the country in order to grab its nukes).

A more sophisticated version of this is that he facilitated the attacks that had taken place on some ISI targets and the army’s GHQ at the behest of former Afghan intelligence chief Amrullah Saleh (fired by President Karzai at Pakistan’s insistence). While most believe that this was done under CIA orders, some think Davis may have been freelancing for Saleh.

A more ‘innocent’ explanation for these contacts is not being considered, at least publicly. They may merely have been informants that he and his colleagues had set up in the tribal areas to relay information for drone targetting. Incidentally, ever since his arrest drone attacks in the tribal belt were temporarily suspended. This may be due to a US desire not to further inflame Pakistani public opinion, or it could be because target information has dried up, or both.

The second mystery in the affair relates to the very odd US reaction. The SOP in such cases is to say nothing in public while working backdoor channels to quietly sort out the affair and get your Joe back (even in kidnappings this is the standard practice).

Why did the US adopt such a public and heavy-handed approach? Conspiracy theorists incline to the belief that the US was petrified at the thought of what Davis might reveal under interrogation, and wanted to have him released immediately. Or, failing that, to at least make him feel that they were fully on his case, thus fortifying his resistance to questioning.

An alternative explanation is that the US thought that Pakistan and its government were so “bought” that an order (Jump!) would be enough to obtain compliance. When this didn’t happen, they got angry (!) and tried to browbeat them into submission. Considering some of the other US foreign policy moves, especially recently, this may not be too far from the truth. Viewed from the pinnacle of Washington, the world often looks very different from how it appears at ground level.

So, how is it all going to end? The Pakistani government may be able to get its foreign ministry to tell the courts that Davis enjoys diplomatic immunity, and should be set free. Whether the courts will accept this is another matter; already the former FM is threatening to appear in court and contradict that. Another possibility is a ‘prisoner exchange’ with Dr Aafiya Siddiqui (jailed by a US court for 86-years, but widely believed in Pakistan to have been railroaded). This may mollify public outrage at Davis’s release.

A third possibility is that Davis will go to prison for the murders but, after a suitable interval, will develop a life-threatening ‘malady’ (that seems to afflict sensitive prisoners in Pakistani jails when it becomes inconvenient for the government to hold them) thus leading to his repatriation on ‘humanitarian’ grounds.

As for the long-term fallout from this sorry saga ‒ stay tuned….
