Former Dutch Islamophobe and a former leading member of far-right Dutch politician Geert Wilders’ party Arnoud Van Doorn visited the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah to pray and say sorry for becoming part of a blasphemous film.

Doorn was among the Freedom Party leaders who produced the blasphemous film, Fitna. Last month he reverted to Islam after an extensive study about the religion and the Prophet (peace be upon him).

He said that the worldwide outrage against the film made him study about the Prophet (pbuh) and that eventually led to his conversion.

He headed for Makkah to perform Umrah after meeting the two imams of the Prophet’s Mosque, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudaifi and Sheikh Salah Al-Badar, who enlightened him on how to lead the life of a good Muslim and confront challenges facing Islam in the West.

A member of the Dutch parliament and The Hague City Council, Doorn announced his decision to accept Islam on his Twitter profile. He also posted a tweet in Arabic declaring that “there is no god but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet.

For example, in World War II, anti-Japanese posters (such as image 6 below) were used to whip up hatred of the enemy: And, at times, Americans have even demonized other Americans, such as during the Civil War (image 7 below).

“We are not Muslims” hasn’t been so effective for our community, has it? Even if we do so in a positive way that does not condone attacks on Muslims, simply educating the public about the fact that we are a distinct community and that we in fact “are not Muslim” will not get to the root of the problem.

As long as we live in a country (and world) where an entire community (in this case, Muslims) is targeted, spied on and vilified, we will not be safe, we will not be free.

As Martin Luther King, Jr. wrote in his letter from a Birmingham jail in 1963, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny.”

The following piece from Sonny Singh reminds me of the pre 9/11 days, when we never had heard of things like suicide bombings, sectarian clashes of the proportion we have it now, or the manifestations of religious extremism as we see in Pakistan nowadays.

When I look to my own self, I have never been a religious man. A firm believer in Allah and his  holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and offering prayers off and on. That was my Islam. But ever since 9/11, the world media starting branding every Muslim as a sinister, war monger, religious zealot out to kill every infidel on the street, my secularism started thinning out.

For elite strategists of the west, ‘Islamic terrorism’ no longer appears to serve as an effective tool for achieving their global goals. This card is already played off. So they needed to create another chimerical doctrine hostile to both their own project and boiling Islamic pot. A neo-fascist movement abundantly stuffed with Christian symbolism would be an ideal option to arrange a big show. An artificial face-off of ‘neo-Crusaders’ and ‘Al-Qaeda’ (both on the service of global elites) is thus planned to be a sparkle to ignite a flame of global conflict. Provocation is the most efficient way to mobilize the limp Western world and to mire it into the war. Religious fanatics in ‘civilized’ countries have always been just puppets in hands of perfectly sober-minded politicians. A striking example to recall may be the blast of railway station in Bologna in 1980.

Norway tragedy of the last week would apparently make a tectonic shift in global social processes. It will significantly affect European politics and influence the ideological schemes of the Western world. As always, the mainstream trend describing Anders Behring Breivik as mentally insane solo terrorist and a ‘Christian fundamentalist’ clearly reveals the villainous plan of his masterminds to crack down any possibility to build respectful intercultural relations between Islamic and Christian communities.

There is no doubt that terrorism is being used by the global elites to create a manageable chaos. During the last decades there were no major terrorist attacks that would not enhance the rule of Western secret services, global oligarchy and competency of TNCs at the expense of civil rights and freedoms.

Norway killer’s pro-Hindutva rant has Sangh squirming

As the global media were busy harping on “Islamic Terrorism” a new phenomenon emerged in India, the “Saffron Terrorism” a name given to Hindutva extremism by none else than the country’s Home Minister, P Chidambaram. It was to these saffron terrorists that Breivik  referred in his 1500-page manifesto giving clear hints about the sources from where he got inspiration. The names included various wings of Sangh Parivar with whom he was in touch through e-mails. No wonder that a Sangh Parivar zealot B P Singhal, while talking to Christian Science Monitor boastfully sympathized with the cause highlighted by the Norwegian killer Anders Behring Breivik. “I am with the shooter in his objective, but not in his method. If you want to attract the nation’s attention, surely you need to do something drastic and dramatic.” Said Singhal.

BJP MP: NORWEGIAN KILLER’S IDEAS WERE NOT WRONG

Norwegian mass murderer Anders Breivik’s ringing endorsement of Hindutva and Hindu nationalists has left saffron leaders embarrassed.

Ram Madhav of RSS called it “motivated propaganda”, while VHP’s Vinod Bansal insisted that his manifesto, in which he has praised Hindu nationalists, “made no sense”. However, BJP MP B P Singhal was quoted as saying that the killer’s ideas were not wrong but his methods were.

In his over 1,500-page manifesto titled “2083: A European Declaration of Independence”, Breivik talks of Hindutva elements as allies and urges them to fight shoulder to shoulder with his knights. His mission: To stem the spread of Islam in Europe. That India occupies a large part of his perverse mindspace is clear from the 100 pages he dedicates to the country. He comes out in support of “sanatana dharma movements and Indian nationalists in general”.

He provides the BJP, RSS and ABVP websites as references for more information. The Indian government, he claims, should have insisted on a name change of the Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan, because they were named after the Hindus who “were massacred” there. Modern India, he says, “white washed this Hindu genocide”, which he likens to “Auschwitz”.

Breivik quotes an NCERT directive of 1982 (which actually shows India embracing its multicultural identity) to say he is outraged that it stipulates, “characterization of the medieval period as a time of conflict between Hindus and Moslems is forbidden”.

Reacting to Breivik’s rant, Ram Madhav, senior RSS leader, said: ” His entire so-called manifesto quotes conservative writers from both sides of the Atlantic. Ideological similarities have been drawn from all over, so to say suddenly that it is linked to Indian nationalists or Hindutva is simply motivated propaganda.”

The VHP’s Vinod Bansal said: “Most of what he has to say makes no sense, except the bit about appeasing Muslims is right. Basically, the UPA government under Sonia Gandhi has been indulging in it and also framing policies in such a way that the whole country is converted to Christianity.”

Hindus, Breivik says, have been victims of the greatest historical “genocide” by waves of Islamic jihad.

He quotes right-wing historian KS Lal to argue his point. The most important part of this document is his cherry-picking of history and religion to come to some terribly distorted conclusions.

Breivik claims he wrote several emails and also used Facebook to reach out to people in India. It is possible that he sent his manifesto to the addresses he farmed ahead of the massacre.

There are several themes running through Breivik’s tortured manifesto. On the one hand, he attacks Islam and the “appeasement” of Muslims by everybody from western countries to countries like India. But on the other, he has a special place for what he calls the Marxist intellectuals, who, he says, dominate western thought and stifle free societies.
